I've been swimming

The diet's not going too badly, but I do feel rather empty. I'd love to stuff my face with crisps, Onion Rings would do nicely!

I went to Crown Pools (did they give the cleaners the day off cos its a Bank Hol). It stank of piss more than it usually does. I did 20 lengths and had a float about with the boys. They enjoy me being more active, that should be incentive enough.

At what point does exercise become fun?

Grr.

I only have myself to blame. Jan 07 I decided not to be fat anymore. Within 6 months I'd lost 3 stone. Then I started to go up and down only a pound or 2, then I got back on it and lost another ½ stone. Then I gave up.

Now I have regained 2 stone. I guess I'm not starting from as bad a place but it feels like it.

I started dieting again yesterday and cycling to work again yesterday. Today I rejoined Weight Watchers.

My little car isn't as far along as it was but I'll get there!

I lost 2 pounds this week, so that's 9 pounds now in 3 weeks, which I'm reasonably pleased with. I'm still trying to eat mostly salad, but I've had pizza a couple of times in the 3 weeks and chinese once.

Katie's still doing fabulously. She only lost a pound this week, which was probably disappointing to her after losing 5 pounds each of the last 2 weeks. I think she's doing great though, that's 11 pounds in 3 weeks!! Well done Katie :)

2 weeks on ...

and I've lost 7 pounds. Yay for me.

Even more yays for Katie (my step-daughter) who started her diet the day after me and has lost 10 pounds!! Well done Katie, you've done so well. Anyone reading this will know how hard it can be for some of us to lose weight - I'm very proud.

I walked to work today, I hadn't done so for a week. I've done really well on the healthy eating front, but I need to do the exercise aswell. I always find exercise a bind though. Roll on the new year when I'm starting Boogie Woogie classes. :)

I've started again.

At the weekend I decided I must start again. I've gotten back into all of my bad habits, my clothes are all too tight, so is my skin and I feel like shit.

So on Sunday I started again. I still had a roast on Sunday as I'd planned to, but so far this week apart from that I have been eating mostly salads and fruit.

I weighed myself Monday morning and I was back up to 17 stone, over a stone heavier than I'd managed to get down to.

I can shift that stone by Christmas.

According to the scales this morning, I've lost 4 lbs already, but I'll try not to get too excited until the end of the week, as I know you can fluctuate by a fews pounds each day.
