I lost 2 pounds this week, so that's 9 pounds now in 3 weeks, which I'm reasonably pleased with. I'm still trying to eat mostly salad, but I've had pizza a couple of times in the 3 weeks and chinese once.
Katie's still doing fabulously. She only lost a pound this week, which was probably disappointing to her after losing 5 pounds each of the last 2 weeks. I think she's doing great though, that's 11 pounds in 3 weeks!! Well done Katie :)

2 weeks on ...
and I've lost 7 pounds. Yay for me.
Even more yays for Katie (my step-daughter) who started her diet the day after me and has lost 10 pounds!! Well done Katie, you've done so well. Anyone reading this will know how hard it can be for some of us to lose weight - I'm very proud.
I walked to work today, I hadn't done so for a week. I've done really well on the healthy eating front, but I need to do the exercise aswell. I always find exercise a bind though. Roll on the new year when I'm starting Boogie Woogie classes. :)

I've started again.
At the weekend I decided I must start again. I've gotten back into all of my bad habits, my clothes are all too tight, so is my skin and I feel like shit.
So on Sunday I started again. I still had a roast on Sunday as I'd planned to, but so far this week apart from that I have been eating mostly salads and fruit.
I weighed myself Monday morning and I was back up to 17 stone, over a stone heavier than I'd managed to get down to.
I can shift that stone by Christmas.
According to the scales this morning, I've lost 4 lbs already, but I'll try not to get too excited until the end of the week, as I know you can fluctuate by a fews pounds each day.

Day 11
Well ... After doing fantastically well for the first three days, I went downhill rather. I kept up the diet until the weekend, but I'd thoroughly knackered myself out with all the cycling and swimming and had to have a rest! Does drinking all weekend and eating "rally food" (pot noodles and bacon butties) count as a rest? No. It doesn't. We are supposed to be going to another scooter rally this weekend - which I really wanted to go to as King Kurt are playing. We've decided not to though as we're just not up to it!! I dragged myself out Sunday too to the Music in the Park in Ipswich.
The end result was 1 pound off by yesterday (I forgot to weigh myself on tuesday). Its not bad going. Only trouble is, I've only just found enough effort to get back on my bike and back to the pool. Still, at least I have today, and I must say it was much easier having a new swimsuit to adequately contain my appendages!!

Day Three ...
REPEAT AFTER ME ....
"Hunger is my friend."
I'm starving today!! I've just eaten a whole tray of cherry tomatoes, I'm hoping they'll satisfy my hunger pangs in a minute or so. Any longer than that and I'll have to ask my colleagues to restrain me from going to the vending machine.
It's my own fault though. I didn't eat enough yesterday. I just had a bowl of Special K for tea instead of a meal. I fancied it though and didn't really have time to cook.
After having already cycled to work and back, to the swimming pool and back and swum 20 lengths, my friend I was meeting "for a beer" had I realised tricked me into actually going for a long walk with a beer at the end of it. Twas fine though. I enjoyed it, and so did my little doggy.
Roll on slimsville!!! :D

Day Two
Well Day One went reasonably well. I ate Fruit n fibre for breakfast, cucumber and tomatoes for mid morning snack, salad (with cheese - which is a bit naughty) for lunch. Fish, new potatoes and corn on the cob for tea.
I swam 20 lengths, despite my nipples popping out of my swimsuit almost every length and I lost an earring in the pool.
I cycled to work and back.
Andy put a battery in the scales and I found I'd actually put on 3½ pounds since I last weighed in, which wasn't as bad as I thought.
Today I cycled to work, had tomatoes mid-morning, cycled to the swimming pool, swam 20 lengths in a different swimsuit, cycled back to work. I've just had a prawn salad and now I'm tucking to (over)ripe cherries. I think I'll have fish for tea again tonight. At this rate I'll be toned up by the weekend ;)

Day One
Back to it!! I stopped going to WW and the battery ran out on our scales. Poor excuse I know!!
So, I think I've probably put about 7 pounds back on, which I will confirm when I go and buy a battery later.
I have made a commitment to swim every lunchtime this week. I've made a good start this morning. I spent hours chopping salad, then cycled to work with my swimming gear in my bag.
It's a good start :D
My goal is to lose 2 pounds a week, which would be 10 pounds by Tattoo Jam on 1 August ... I have a fancy dress outfit to wear that night which requires less padding in the belly area.
I could then lose a further 4 pounds in the 2 weeks before our summer holiday, thus making me a stone lighter. It's gonna take some will power - so any encouragement / beating with a stick is very welcome.

Oh poo ...
After pinning all my hopes on my new bike, I've found I'm suffering from handlebar palsy. I've been back to the bike shop at lunch time and had my handlebars adjusted and I've turned on the front suspension on the bike. I really hope it works. I'd put on a pound at WW this week. I think it was probably the week before when I didn't go cos I'd been so bad. I'm doing better this week, but still haven't really embraced the diet like I did at the start.
Thankfully the vending machine is out of order as I have a very very strong desire for some chocolate.
And my wrists ache. A lot. :(

Time for a new start ...
The first part of last year I lost 3 stone. Having faffed around since July 07 going up a pound, down a pound, I am now determined to get back on it. I took receipt of my new pushbike on Tuesday. I'm going to stop making excuses and allowing myself so much slack. Give me hassle if you don't see that little car moving towards goal again soon!!
My freaky husband and I have agreed to do a naked photoshoot at some point this year. My freaky husband even told his mum! I must remind myself about this point of getting nekkid each time I waver. I'm also going to keep reminding myself of my original reasons why I wanted to lose weight.
I'm also going to check out my fat pics from the start of my diet regularly.

Motivation - CHECK
I think I've found my motivation again!! Hurrah!! I think its the lovely weather we've had the last few days. Today as I walked to work I passed the surf dude shop and remembered one of my wishes - to buy a cute pair of combats and a cute strappy summer top from there.
I've been rubbish lately and have allowed my weight to just go up a pound, down a pound ad infinitum, but I feel it's behind me now. And at lunchtime Andy took me to a cycle shop to buy me a bicycle :D I'm actually going to get it through the work cyclescheme - but I'm chuffed that he offered to buy it for me and I'm encouraged that I can get back to cycling to work. I love walking to work, but I seem to use not-having-time as an excuse far too often and cycling takes much less time.
I'm all smiley.

It's a start ...
I lost 2 pounds :D
I need to crack on with dieting properly now. One of the ladies gave me a tip today. When you eat something naughty the moment's pleasure is soon surpassed by anger towards yourself for eating it. Compare that to the feeling you get when the scales say you've lost.

Bad dieter!
It's a while since I last posted ... I missed weeks of weight watching over Christmas and when I went back last week, I'd put 3 lbs on. I didn't update my ticker because I was too ashamed to show it going in the wrong direction. Tomorrow I go for my weigh in. I really hope that I've shed a couple of those pounds, but to be honest I haven't been that good. I've got out of the habit of dieting and I keep letting myself have treats ... waaaaaaaaay too often. I'm drinking wine now and trying to resist crisps. They know they are gonna win though.
